Mrinalini, “Full ” At Gallery Sankaibi, in Tokyo, Japan. March 15 - March 28, 2019

I paint what I love and love what I paint... flowers, patterns, pots and chinoiserie. From nature to object d' art, I infuse my paintings with joy and beauty, harmony and precision. This exhibition "Full " is dedicated to my perception that life is like a full circle which is infinite in its possibilities and has no beginning or end. I began with a dot which is also a and joined it with other dots and circles to create a continuous line of artistic expression that ends where it began - in a full circle . Venturing on my artistic journey 26 years ago, I began with watercolours. In this exhibition, my artistic meanderings and explorations with other mediums (oils, acrylics, mixed media) have come full to where they originally began watercolours.
