2012 is finally here!
a lot has been said for this year and i’ll not go into any of that. we all create our own reality through our vision and perception of how we choose to see and believe anything.
i’m keeping things simple…no matter what’s in store for each one of us we have a choice in how we experience our reality.
if there’s one word that spells out the energy of this year for me then it’s ‘joy’. i wish myself and anyone reading this a year of joy in every moment!
the energy of ‘joy’ is empowering, healing and from a higher self. it shifts ones perspective to find grace in every experience and circumstance.
so, let’s be in – joy.
wishing you life’s every happiness through this energy of ‘joy’. enjoy!

for those of us who were born in india, we grow up hearing about ‘karma’ and ‘karmic cycles’ that have to be lived out, repeated from one lifetime to another, for growth, lessons we need to learn etc. etc.
i imagine many of us have pondered about how to get out of this karma ‘thing’.
i remember a few years ago – on the course of my travels in northern india – i happened to sit on the steps of a famous little lake and went through a short and very poignant little prayer ritual where the intention was to wash off old karma and have a clean slate in this life. after we finished we were told that we had been washed off our old karma and our slate was clean! wow!
could it be so easy, i wondered?
well, it’s not……. but, if your intention is authentic and committed from a heart level then everything is possible.
if life is a school where we have come to learn our lessons as students then every situation or person , no matter how much we may like or dislike it has taught us something valuable. we can either learn to graduate from that experience and move on or we can carry on repeating that experience till we learn our lesson and move on with forgiveness.
our intentions and choices are very powerful and set the way for where we go, what we do and how we are. we chart our own territory and create our own future reality.
as i continue on my journey to seek out a better understanding of my role and purpose, i’m aware that i have syncronistically been brought to sources of knowledge and understanding in so many different ways. the same is true for all of us, it’s simply a matter of being aware or unaware. that’s all.
for those of us who are consciously and by choice on this path of moving beyond and above the so called karmic patterns i would like to share something which is maybe my basic understanding of this matter, as i feel it’s relevant for all of us.
we don’t all have to go to the shores of a special lake necessarily to wash off our karma, we can do it from right here – wherever it is we are.
if you are one of those people who has understood that we have a choice in life regardless of circumstances and pressures, you’ll also be someone who understands that our intentions for whatever choices and decisions we make direct us on to new and different paths that shape our future reality. so if intention and choice are ours to make then something so simple as ‘forgiveness’ of ourselves and forgiveness of the other are the best ways to release ourself from our repeating karmic cycle.
if you truly wish to go beyond the karmic cycle then it’s something each one of us can do.
sit quietly with yourself.
make your intentions clear in your heart and in your mind, picture the person you wish to forgive and simply forgive….release….and let go of whatever it is that you’re holding on to in your deeper self.
once you have done that also remember to repeat the same for forgiving yourself. forgive…release…and let go. this second part is not that easy either but it’s also necessary.
you have now set yourself free.
how will you know it’s been done. well, your feelings – your inner voice which is your guide, will let you know.

as numbers go today should be a pretty special one as the ones line up.
some of us i suppose can find something special, auspicious and positive in just about any and everything.
really depends on ones perspective and way of looking at things.
then again your creative and spontaneous reactions are tuned in with your individual spiritual growth and you’ll notice the signs in the precise so called right moment and the so called realists will tell you what a coincidence it is.
the way i understand any of this…there are no coincidences, there’s syncronicity and we are co creators of this puzzle of life as it aligns itself up according to our own frequencies and those of the universal set up.
life is full of such coincidences and the stars will line up precisely as you tune into the mysteries and universal heart.
see the designs, open up your heart and tune into lifes messages as they come to you as guides and signposts.

life is what it is.
but you can live it and be a part it as its co creator by consciously changing yourself to be in harmony with yourself.
there is peace on earth if we are in peace with ourself.
there’s nothing to go out and do, simply being a peaceful human being is all it takes to change the world to be a peaceful place.

wise words with wisdom for all times and all situations.  real power in any one individual, community or country lies in aligning with anothers point of view through understanding and by guiding the force directed at you in a new direction through deflection and flexibility. find points of agreement, least resistance and realign and redirect in a common direction without the use of force. This is the way martial arts masters use their inner force.
this is real power and it’s what lies within each one of us. there’s no need to build up resisitance or conflicts through disagreements and opposition.
effective communication requires the skill to persuade without controlling or dictating, without disrespecting the other and finding a common ground for agreement and understanding.  there’s no real need to fight on anything, if only we can learn to be effective communicators coming from a place of respect and appreciation. finding commonalities and the gentle art of flexible persuasion are conducive to living in harmony and peace wherever you are.

i’m a subscriber – to a place where i feel only love.
it’s a choice and I make it with an awareness and deliberate intent.
i consciously look for things, people and experiences that i love to love and that’s exactly what I get!

this is a part of an invocation prayer for creating one’s sacred space. i wrote about sacred spaces a few days ago…the jaguar represents the west and stands for transformation, renewal and the cycle of life and death.
invoking the symbolic energy of the jaguar leads to transformation of heavy energies to those of light – or more positive ones.
old patterns and habits that are destructive and redundant need to die to give life to new hope and restore balance.
when anyone needs spiritual or psychological balance connecting to the protecting energy of the jaguar is invoked.
