having abundance is knowing that you have ‘enough’ of anything in the moment you’re in.
abundance is in knowing that it’s enough that you’re able to experience this moment and are able to live it with peace, joy and gratitude.
so often we’re in pursuit of more and more of something or the other and we forget to count our blessings for what we already have. it’s only when we can be conscious of the abundance in our lives in the moment that we can create more abundance through the freedom to be creative and more effective.
any feeling of a lack or limitation holds us back from feling the abundance that we already have.
it’s important to be aware of what is abundantly there in your life and of letting go of the need for more….interestingly, recognizing and being grateful that we have enough in itself creates more abundance.
to be able to truly love and appreciate who and what is in our space and world around us, we have to be alert to be able…
to see,
to hear,
to sense,
to feel…
to know,
to be aware.
all of this requires us ‘to be present’ and to show up in the moment that is, if not we can be there in the body but if our thoughts and mind are not present or there in the moment along with our heart, we miss out!
so much is said about the weather being good or bad.
most weather forecasts on news channels will also describe good weather as being sunny with blue skies, while anything other than that comes quickly under the category of bad nasty weather!
the other day as I watched golf’s major sporting event – the british open, i winced everytime i heard one particular commentator saying that the weather was ‘filthy’, as the players were compelled to play through windy, rainy challenging weather. i understand that the weather became another factor that the players had to deal with apart from the already difficult links course….still, i was reminded how easily we can brand, define and judge the way things are by our own way of thinking.
weather is what it is, seasons will come and go. nature has it’s own way of squaring things up and churning up the elements. it’s neither ‘good’ nor ‘bad’ – it simply is what it is. the branding comes from our perception of how we’re forced to deal with it and how it affects us in particular circumstances. it’s relative…sometimes it just requires a simple rearranging of our own thoughts and change in our perspective to be in the flow and see things simply as they are without judgements and polarities.
i’ve learnt to appreciate all kinds of weather and give graitude for all the seasons and changes that are a constant and essential part of our world.
everyday that rolls in or out is an opportunity for each one of us to remember to make a choice to be happy.
yes, we choose to be happy.
it’s a choice to indulge, cultivate and remember whenever we forget, get caught up in circumstances or issues….no matter what, we still have a choice in how we respond to anything or anyone.
let go, let flow and choose to be happy.
there’s plenty of stuff going on around us everywhere and everyday that makes one wonder….what life’s all about.
there’s plenty of news that doesn’t make us feel good.
the challenge is how to remain above and positive through all of this…anything that pushes our buttons and makes us feel any kind of worry or fear is an indication to do exactly the opposite of what might be so called ‘normal’ reactions.
remind yourself to get into a state of feeling positive, gratitude, joy and peace no matter what.
it’s what keeps us healthy in mind, body and spirit.
being an eternal optimist, i feel that whatever changes we experience, whatever else is going on around us in our world is for our best, for our growth, some lesson to learn, to evolve from and fulfillment of our life purpose.
i get a sense of things getting back to basics, to what really matters, to what is of value, whether it be in relationships with our family or friends or in our circumstances. it’s all for change in progress for what is better for us and the world around us be it in our business, work, way of life or anything else.
answer…. we all do!
in some way or the other, we all care about something.
caring and consciousness go hand in hand.
there’s no denial or getting away from it.
what’s relevant is….. what we care about,
what we focus on,
what we give our energy to,
what our intention is,
what we feel,
what our emotions say about the state of our mind,
what we think about,
all of it indicates that we care about something.
that something or someone starts with us….remembering who we are and being honest and sincere, being peaceful, happy individuals and conscious of the truth of this being that we are.
conscious awareness in every moment requires us to be present in that moment and requires us to be care – ful and not care – less about what direction our thoughts take us to.
choose carefully in the moment you are in to come back to your center, open your heart and lift your vibrations to a higher level. the way you feel in any moment indicates the care you give to your own self and the world around you.
respond to you and your life and the life of those around you with gentle care and watch how you receive more of the same in return for your effort.
take care.
we are so conditioned by our surrounding beliefs and brainwashing that often what we think is an extension of those beliefs that we’ve grown up with.
i’m too busy…
i never have time….
i’m too old for this….
i’m too fat…
i’m too lazy….i’m too this or that!
forget it! this is just a story we create with our mind and if you go deeper into your heart you’ll find that these are just limitations we set upon ourselves. they are only part of the true story. your true story.
don’t believe everything your mind is thinking.
change your story, change your thinking and allow your heart to open up to the truth of what is in and around you.
if there’s one thing i remind myself to do at any moment and point of time in a day i would say i give gratitude for any and everything that ‘is’ in my awareness and experience at that time. life is what it is, and it’s not supposed to be fair and people don’t have to be nice to us and nature and life throws up challenges for us to deal with all the time.still, even through all of that, a little shift in our consciousness and being grateful for life’s blessings is all we need to create a feeling of having ‘enough’ and feeling joy and peace in our life. feeling ‘gratitude’ is holding a key to our own peace of mind and happiness.
a life lived with meaning is a life lived with self awareness and love.
an awareness of who we are, where we’re coming from and where we’re going will come from that awareness of our life lived fully in this moment.
things, places and events have no meaning in themselves, save what we give to them.
life’s meaning lies within each one of us, not in the things and spaces around us.
in every life there’s a purpose and a meaning.
that purpose is manifest in the attitude and the way we live in the place where we are.
it’s upto each one of us to find our purpose and the meaning it has in our life.
the answer lies within us in our hearts.
no one can do that work of discovering what the answer is except we ourselves.
this is what we came into this life to discover and experience.
it is our raison d’etre.
every moment of our life is replete with meaning and we can discover and remember who we are by seeing and finding the meaning of the signs that appear in and around us.
we are each one the creator, producer and director of our life through the choices we make.
our life and the ultimate choice of how we choose to live and perceive this life is ours to make.
a life lived with meaning is ultimately a life lived as a conscious loving being.
