be – longing

we are where we are, where we are meant to be                                                                                                                                                in any moment.
there is the big picture that we don’t always see,                                                                                                                                             for if we could,                                                                                                                                                                                                                   then we would                                                                                                                                                                                                            know and be sure
that we be – long to this moment
the universe and no more.
time and space
as we know it
may seem linear….
the past right behind us
the future still to come
but what we have
and what we be – long to
is no more than just this moment, the dot of eternity and the circle around us.

dandelion

you sunny oracle of the wild
healer, seeker, free spirit yet mild
leaving your footprints
softly, in the breeze
where others of your ilk
who tread not like you, freeze,
yet dare to follow
as you thrust forth in open field
and bare your head to wield
from crag, nook and cranny.
oh! you have cast your spell on me
dandelion! dandelion!
you have set me free!
you brave free spirit of the wild.

                           -  mrinalini

there is peace on earth
there is peace in the moment
the truth of things comes
in its opposite reflections
within without hand in hand
