empowering beliefs….

i have been on this subject of beliefs lately…
we live a lot of our life based on our own or other peoples beliefs.
beliefs are repeated thought patterns.  one that i love to believe in is that each one of us is responsible for the world we find ourselves in and that we are the creators of it in conjunction with others.
there’s no one else to blame for anything!
this works in our lives at the individual level and it works at a collective level between one entity and another.
so that brings me to the point of relationships between people and countries. taking responsibility in relationships from a micro to macro level empowers the persons assuming the responsibility by giving them the possibility of bringing about real change.
it’s also a sign of their real power, maturity and wisdom.
if two people can work on this basis then why can’t two countries work on the same model of belief and action?
simplistic as it may sound, real peace and harmonious relationships are possible in every corner of the world if EVERY country accepted responsibility for every action and reaction and worked on an ‘empowering belief ‘ that they are responsible for whatever experience they manifest – good or bad – and find a way to interact and communicate with everyone – around –  in a manner that they foresee already the outcome of their every action as a positive and harmonious one.
so -  the point is…..that when we feel responsible for the world we are creating and don’t like the picture, then we have the power to change  it by the empowering belief of accepting responsibility and then communicating and acting out a new belief pattern in a way where we see the result already as a more desirable and peaceful one. it requires, the will, wisdom and maturity.
we have the power to change the world we are in by way of our ‘empowering beliefs ‘.  i find this an empowering belief and one that brings about real change from within and not from without.

achieving ‘buddhadom’ …..

a thought………i try to seek out unlimiting beliefs.
who’s to tell us that we can achieve or not achieve’ this’ or ‘that’?
who’s to judge us for anything!
what other’s think of us is really their business.
what i think of ‘me’ is my business!
what i do with my business is none of anyone else’s business.
i am the center of my world, just as much as you – the reader of these words – is the center of your world!
i believe that everything is possible for we live in a universe with infinite possibilities.
with that promising and inspiring belief paint your life the way you want to and be whoever you wish to be!

responsibility factor…

things don’t just happen to us, we create them.
how?
by our thought and behaviour.
taking on responsibility for whatever happens to us in our life is a way to empower your self and your life.
passing the buck, shoving blame on to others, is a sure way to dis – empower and be someone who’s simply at the mercy of circumstances.
things don’t just happen…… a set of beliefs, patterns, thoughts, behaviour, right setting and environment make something happen a certain way and we are behind it.
so, accepting responsibility is a sure way to take back ones power and create a life authored consciously by our own self.

beliefs…

what i can do or can’t do is a matter of my minds perception and belief in myself about anything.
guess it’s a matter of choice.
i can choose from a limiting belief or one that supports me…..if i can help it i will choose a supporting belief.
as i’ve come to understand it – our environment, experiences and knowledge influence and shape our beliefs but most importantly self belief in ones own past results helps to choose a belief that empowers that something is possible even when the pressure is on and the odds look tough.
the important thing to remember is that our beliefs are not static – stuck in time or dated, they are constantly subject to change. so as we move along, our ways of thinking and being move along and our beliefs also change.

‘state’ of being….

a human is ‘be-ing’ a certain way at ALL times. it’s a continuous state that is subject to constant change and evolution.
the only person who is in charge of this ‘state’ of being is no other than yourself.
be – ing happy, sad, joyful, peaceful, busy, successful, moody etc. are all states of ‘be – ing’ that come from the signals and messages we communicate from our brain to our body, intentionally or otherwise.
the mind – body link is constant and total. in this respect changing the ‘state’ of our physiology changes the state of our mind and  in the way we feel. the way we breathe, sit, stand, move, hold our body, our posture, facial expressions all determine and influence the way we feel.
so a good way to determine how your state is ‘being’ is to watch and be aware of your physiology and use it to assist the way you wish to be.

change your thoughts and you change your life. so also….change your physiology and you can change your ‘state of being.’

power versus force

” the best soldier does not attack. the superior fighter succeeds without violence. the greatest conqueror wins without a sturggle. the most successful manager leads without dictating, this is called nonaggressiveness. this is called mastery of men.”
- lao tsu. tao te ching

wise words with wisdom for all times and all situations.  real power in any one individual, community or country lies in aligning with anothers point of view through understanding and by guiding the force directed at you in a new direction through deflection and flexibility. find points of agreement, least resistance and realign and redirect in a common direction without the use of force. This is the way martial arts masters use their inner force.
this is real power and it’s what lies within each one of us. there’s no need to build up resisitance or conflicts through disagreements and opposition.
effective communication requires the skill to persuade without controlling or dictating, without disrespecting the other and finding a common ground for agreement and understanding.  there’s no real need to fight on anything, if only we can learn to be effective communicators coming from a place of respect and appreciation. finding commonalities and the gentle art of flexible persuasion are conducive to living in harmony and peace wherever you are.

Age factor

i feel a time will come – very soon - in the near future when our perceptions and beliefs about age will change forever!
in my own lifetime i have seen how my own ideas about ‘growing older’ have changed so radically.
i no longer set a ceiling on how long i or any other human being can live. we r living in a quantum age and are victims of a limited way of thinking. our beliefs about how we look at any age or growing old are nothing but habitual set patterns of thinking that we came to believe as truths! we programed our body to being this way. all that’s required now to change this way of being is a different program and belief system.
limited beliefs with conditioned and set minsets about how old we are at any given time and how we should or should not be are hardly conducive to evolved or heightened ways of being.
for me age is as old as one feels. I know that we are approaching an ‘age’ where life expectancy will increase amazingly. people will live hundreds of years and we will be as old as we feel.

illusion or reality

what is real and what is an illusion is all a makeup of our individual mind. what we may think of as so called reality in the physical world is maybe not so real and what we think of as an illusion from the non pyhsical realm is maybe more real…..it’s really a matter of our individual perception and how we see things from our inner vision.
the way i feel it, everything  – means everything - in this world is alive and has an energy and vibration and responds to our love and attention. the world of so called reality is more of an illusion than the non visible. even time and the way we live it is neither running out nor going anywhere.  the way einstein put it ” the distinction between past, present and future is also a big illusion.”
maybe if we are open to consider and accept it,  the possibility is that we all live in a world of infinite parallel possibilities coexisting at the same time.

remembering ‘ana’…..

ana, was a life.
i remember you with love and gratitude.
ana – soft, sweet, smiling, gentle. kind, generous, helpful and willing.
no more in body but in soul eternal.
death is a right of passage and calls for a celebration of a soul that has chosen to move on from this world and exists no longer in the body but is one with the source.

thank you for havng been in our life and may your soul be in peace on your onward journey.

imagine

i’m reminded of one of my favourite songs by john lennon when i read that title and it always serves to inspire me and helps me to imagine any and everything.
our logical mind can carry us from point a to b as einstein reminded us, but our imagination can take us everywhere and if we can feel what we imagine then we can even realize it.
dream, imagine and see the universe manifest what your imaginary world creates for you.
