just when you feel you’ve got something figured out and you have made some progress on an issue, something will come up to remind you that it’s not quite over and there’s still some work to be done. this feeling of deja vu and a repeating cycle seems to be a part and parcel of our lives. perhaps the two steps backwards come around to test us and see if we have really learnt the lesson we were meant to. lets get one thing understood….whatever it is that goes back and then moves forward is a set up that we have created for our own growth. next time something comes around again and seems like a familiar pattern all you need to do is recognize it and be aware of what really might be the growth that you have gone through to deal with it and accept it. your own level of inner peace and emotional acceptance will be a good indicator of what it is that you may be required to understand, process and evolve with. there’s much that is right in our world and for that we have to be grateful. the road may seem long and arduous but one thing you can be sure of that one small step forward is a long step in the journey you’re meant to go on for your own evolution.
it’s understood that a game will end in a winner and a loser. a split second timing, one move, bad luck or thought is all it takes to change the game in one person or teams favor. there’s a fine line between winning and losing a game or anything else. the end result leads to celebration for one and disappointment and sadness for the other.
win or lose life goes on for all the players – but, with what impact or growth? the biggest learning lesson is perhaps the one that gives one balanced perspective and we learn to be at peace on either side of the game.
to lose with grace and win with dignity and be grateful for the process and the effort of having participated.
as the world cup goes on we have many such occasions to feel and experience the winning and losing vibrations and find our own balance. one days winner is likely to be another days loser nd vice versa. the end is there not to disempower or to live ones life in failure but to learn and grow from the best effort put into the spirit of the game. there’s more to life than winning or losing. for me it’s about learning to live with oneself in peace and happiness no matter what.
