Born in the Himalayas, Mrinalini has since lived and traveled widely across the earth. Currently her home is in Tokyo.
Painting since her childhood, Mrinalini has been exhibiting her artistic work in group and solo exhibitions in India, Switzerland, Colombia and Indonesia, since 1992. She believes her artistic expression is not an end in itself, but simply a means of trying to understand the fundamental truths of life and being a more self- aware person.
In “ My Garden”, Mrinalini’s flowers bloom in abundance, representing the eternal cycle of life, that all living beings share and reflecting the bond and spirit, that unites and interconnects everything and everyone in the Universe.
