2011 and Beyond

Born in the Himalayas, Mrinalini has lived and traveled widely across the earth.

She has been exhibiting her artistic work in exhibitions in India, Switzerland, Colombia, Indonesia and Japan since 1992. She feels her creative expression is not an end in itself, but simply a journey and process that helps her to gain a better understanding of life as it evolves and her place in it as a cosmic being.

Mrinalini’s flowers and abstracts represent the eternal cycle of life, in which she believes that everything and everyone is interconnected. Her current work in progress reflects the dawning of an accelerated shift in human consciousness as it emerges from the shadows of two thousand years of the Piscean age and moves into the light of the Golden Age of Aquarius more …

2012 – a year of joy!

2012 is finally here!
a lot has been said for this year and i’ll not go into any of that. we all create our own reality through our vision and perception of how we choose to see and believe anything.
i’m keeping things simple…no matter what’s in store for each one of us we have a choice in how we experience our reality.
if there’s one word that spells out the energy of this year for me then it’s ‘joy’. i wish myself and anyone reading this a year of joy in every moment!
the energy of ‘joy’ is empowering, healing and from a higher self. it shifts ones perspective to find grace in every experience and circumstance.
so, let’s be in – joy.
wishing you life’s every happiness through this energy of ‘joy’. enjoy!

rituals

i like rituals….simple self created intentions and ceremonies that initiate something, an event a project, a day, or end and bring to closure a day or some segment of our life.
i find they bring ones intention and attention to the moment in hand and a simple thought of gratitude and attitude to that moment makes it special and sets the tone and mood for what is to follow.
waking up in the morning and gently drawing ones attention to the fact of opening ones eyes and drawing ones awareness to the day and tasks that lie ahead with gratitude – make for setting the tone and mood.
rituals don’t have to be elaborate or grand, they can be just a ‘thank you’ a little nod and acknowledgement to the food one’s about to eat and the task one has finished.
when i pick up brush and paint before an empty canvas it’s very natural for me to evoke a heartfelt ritual to let inspiration and cosmic creativity be my guide to express myself as an artist…..
i find these little rituals to release and bring forth, prepare one to create a framework for what one is about to undertake. very often we have habits and quirks which are actually rituals…the same if done with spiritual consciousness become our own personal acts of ceremony and elevate the vibration and frequency of whatever action is on hand to become special and sacred.
it’s like honoring oneself and the moment from our higher self.
every morning, before stepping into a shower i bless the water – that will clean the body and the energy field around me – it’s a feeling that honors my oneness with the earth and its many bounties.
simple daily rituals connect us to our higher self and set the tone for living every day with an attitude of gratitude, joy and appreciation.
i love my little rituals.
i wish you a happy day.

what’s in your suitcase?

i’ve just come back from a trip to a tiger reserve, a jungle of immense beauty and healing energy and i share some thoughts that came to my mind on this segment of my life trip.
i’m conscious that the spirit and energy that we are is in me and in you – the reader is eternal. it’s got it’s temporary lodging in this body that it occupies for the duration it has chosen to be in while we’re journeying through this life. this is my spirits temporary suitcase, so what have i packed in my bag? is it positive thoughts and love, forgiveness and gratitude or is it the oppositie of those with fear based negative thoughts? it’s for each one of us to check out our own baggage and ensure that we pack the empowering, the nurturing and the healing thoughts and energy. joy, appreciation and gratitude are for me indispensable attributes of love in my suitcase as i journey on. they never fail to energize and nourish me daily on my travels…
bon voyage!

cleaning up….!

dust falls everyday in our homes and we have to clean them up.
it’s a part of our daily life, no getting away from it!
same way, we have to consciously clean up our mind of all the negative thoughts that come through and replace them with more positive ones.
i find that this is something to be done every day, often and with awareness. no getting away from it.
our thoughts become the things we see manifested in our environment. every single thing we see in this world was thought up and created by the same force that resides in our universal sub conscious mind. we are part of this creative force, co – creators.
you are what you think.
so it’s important that we learn and choose to think positively and well of ourself and others.

things are thoughts…

we are what we think.
we create what we think.
things are thoughts!
a thing becomes a thing because we have consciously or sub consciously thought it into creation.
we change our thoughts we change our life.
we heal our mind we heal our body.
well…seems like we are really the masters of our own life and destiny and living in an environment and world that is always changing according to the way we think.

nature

what an expressive word ‘nature’ is!
nature…the beauty of what is the physical ‘nature’ of our environment the world we live in with its ‘natural’ environment….
the nature of things…of human beings…our nature…my nature…yours…
as i reflect on it i’m conscious that nature is the place we turn to outside of us when we wish to nurture a deeper part of our souls, to heal, balance and to find our own true ‘nature’.
it’s what helps and guides us to remember our inner selves…our true nature, our oneness, our higher self.
the flowers i paint are a tribute to one of natures most divine gifts to the human race…to remind us of our true nature.
to be…infinite, unlimited in our expression and to expand our heart to an openness that accepts and embraces all without judgement or negativity and simply becomes a manifestation of – one.

knowing…

often one knows something but one cannot say how….it’s untangible.
it’s simply knowing through having a sixth sense or a knowing that comes through experience.
how does one know or describe the fragrance of a lotus….one knows through having experienced it!
i could tell you how unique and divine the fragrance is but to actually know it requires us to have actually experienced it.
i know …that not everything in life can be proved scientifically or through analysis, somethings we just know them for whatever they are…you may call them or define them with any name you wish, but knowing is what it is.
being.

lao tzu…

this wise teacher from times gone by was so right when he said that, remaining soft and supple, gentle and yielding were the keys to living a life of harmony with flexibility.
an important lesson to remember for those of us who get on in years…getting rigid, and fixed in our age old ideas, mindsets and accepting ourselves ‘as too old to change our thinking and ways” are the surest ways to turn brittle and edgy.
the child within each one of us is ever present and still ready and playful…..i’m reminded of my several meetings with his holiness the dalai lama whose childlike energy, twinkling eyes and ever ready laughter and playful happy energy impacted me and continues to constantly remind me and inspire me of one of life’s most important lessons….
be childlike, remain playful and happy for no reason.
nature has plenty of examples – soft, gentle grass and plants, or rivers going with the flow around obstacles – to remind us that our mind and bodies need soft and gentle flexibility to survive.
lao tzu’s message is just as relevant today as it may have been thousands of years ago.
perhaps the wheel of life repeats itself and we have to remind ourselves in every time and age of life’s relevant messages.
i’m grateful to this sage and others for sharing their wisdom and light with those seekers who care to listen.

many moons ago…

i understood many moons ago…. that,
nothing is set in stone…
that life is an endless series of probabilities, potentialities and possibilities!
we’re here to….live more fully, forgive more completely, appreciate more often and spontaneously, love – all that is – wholeheartedly, and be grateful more consciously.
follow your bliss and raise your higher vibration levels.
have a joyful, wonderful day.

september 23…..autumn equinox

today – in my corner of the world – summer is officially over and autumn is here.
there’s a delicate balance between day and night when they are almost equal!
apart from the change and shift that is afoot, i’m conscious of the change and shift on a vibrational, emotional, energetic and physical level that i’m going through.
as we become more aware of our individual and collective patterns of growth and challenge we become more aware of our own power and ability to create an exceptional life in the midst of all the fear based doom and gloom realities circulating our planet in this moment.
this equinox, reminds each one of us to seek our own inner balance in the midst of these perceived realities and find our inner strength and peace even as we allow ourselves to believe that all is well in the world we live in and that everything unfolds perfectly in the bigger picture.
with every new challenge there’s an opportunity to create a mental outlook that allows me and you to see life from its most positive advantage and to come from our highest self.
in this delicate balance it requires just a 51% tipping point to remain with conscious positive thoughts and energy to create a better story and a better world.
so let’s celebrate this equinox today and create a better tomorrow.
